This is a 12.5 inch Panawal Khukuri. GGK has executed the traditional form in modern dynamics with 5 fullers for delivering extra power cuts maintaining the balance of heavy weight blade. The blade is sturdily built to withstand great cutting pressure with more agility and well balance. This is a full tang khukuri with metal guard and iron pommel for better weight distribution.
Although little heavy than normal khukuris GGK has used sophisticated ergonomics for better handling and swift use. Very much useful for outdoor works it also serves the very purpose of domestic use like cutting, chopping, slicing, butchering etc. The stunning fierce looks helps you in the defensive actions. The traditional design handle with rings and grooves helps you a lot to get the controlled balance of the blade and get your work done with the palms experiencing less tensile. Available in traditional design scabbard with potholes for Karda and Chakmak, the scabbard has high retention power of upholding the blade within the sheath. Also unsheathing of the blade is the matter of a fraction of second to get your work done at the prime moment.
Two small blades namely Karda & Chakmak are also part of this khukuri. Karda is a small, sharp utility knife which can be used to cut small wood for kindling, carve holes, skinning animals etc. And the Chakmak, a purposely blunt blade with high level of hardness that is used for honing the Khukuri and Karda in the field, and also for striking sparks to light fire.

Any possibility of adding the black ( rust resistant ) finish on the blade?
And finger notches on the handle?
