This is a 15 inch traditional Chainpure khukuri. It has longer length of cut as it has longer blade. It is used in mountains and villages. It provides for easy handling and has razor sharp blade. This khukuri is especially famous in eastern part of Nepal which is mostly carried by the Rais and Limbu people. It can be used for outdoor works.
Two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak are also part of this kukri. Karda is the sharp small knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for sharpening the blade.
