This is a 10 inch Royal Tri Chandra Khukuri.
Traditionally this khukuri was manufactured with rat tail tang but GGK reproduced this old khukuri in modern aesthetics supported by full tang handle for greater balance and high level of agility. The blade features the old design and dimensions with all the traditional arts and design intact.
This khukuri was supposed to be used during Rana regime by "Chandra Shumsher", then Rana Prime Minister of Nepal. Keeping the legacy in the original form GGK has reproduced it with distinctively curved blade for accurate cuts with less thrust applied. Rings and ridges are made at the handle to provide a non slippery sturdy grip enhancing the comfortable hold with less strains on the hands.
The razor sharp blade serves the full purpose of cutting and chopping. This is carried by the Nepalese army till date as the survival weapon and used during the army drills & for the khukuri dance at the special occasions. This khukuri can also be used for outdoor works and jungle trails.
This khukuri can be carried anywhere you like as a good companion serving both household and wild chores.
Two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak are also part of this khukuri. Karda is the sharp small knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for honing the blade and striking sparks for fire.
GGK features on high quality built Karda and Chakmak from spring steel blade as compared to others available in the market.
